Black Gold 10x20"

This piece was initially a piece that I didn't like, it started off with bright whites and pinks, stacked with layers and layers of paint.  I put it aside for a while until I felt like I could tackle it.  Once I started working on it, I took advantage of the layers of paint that were already there and it became a masterpiece of depth and incredible texture that gives the illusion of crumbling stone.
